The staff, the location, the rooms, I loved it all. The room was incredibly comfortable, had all the amenities inc a kettle and coffee (the most important), fresh water in fridge every day, pyjamas etc. It was a nice and quiet room and there was a view of Fuji san on one of the mornings. There is a bus to the hotel directly from Narita airport. The hotel staff will happily assist you in forwarding your luggage to your next destination. There is a konbini in the building, gashapon, restaurants, gym. Everything Location is just fantastic, like a hop skip and a jump to one of the best connected stations in Tokyo. I find Ikebukuro to be a perfect spot. Lots going on, lots to see, easy to get to other areas in Tokyo by train. You can chill on the West side of the station where the hotel is with lots of great food around and local performances, arcades etc and then cross the station to the busier shopping area. Sunshine Dori, Sunshine city. My highlight was exploring and becoming familiar with Ikebukuro station. It's kind of like a world of its own. With both Seibu and Tobu department stores on each side of the station you could spend days exploring.

Overall: The hotel combines a lively, well-connected neighborhood with comfortable rooms, high-standard service, and friendly staff. For a comfortable stay in Tokyo, this is the place to be. Connection: Just a 3-minute walk from Ikebukuro Station, which serves several major rail lines, including the Yamanote Line, the hotel offers convenient access to key Tokyo attractions. The proximity is especially beneficial for elderly companions. Arriving via Shinkansen, we opted for a taxi due to our luggage, and taxi drivers easily recognized the hotel by even its English name. Check-In/Out: English-speaking receptionists assist with a smooth check-in and check-out process. Bell staff handle luggage upon arrival. Early check-in is possible if the room is ready. Check-out is simple, either handing in keycards or using the express box for no outstanding payments. Rooms: The rooms are spacious, avoiding the cramped feel of some Tokyo hotels. The A/C goes as low as 18°C, perfect for Tokyo's summer heat. While standard, the rooms ensure a comfortable sleep. Service: Room service, including housekeeping and laundry, is efficient and satisfactory.

This is a very good location. 1st is the limousine bus from narita airport stops in front of the hotel. it took only 1.5 hours to reach the hotel. 2nd, beside the hotel is a mall (TOBU mall which has a lot of local stores and local restaurants) with access to train station. Ikebukuro is 1 train away to shinjuku. After visiting other crowded parts of tokyo, its very nice to go back to this hotel because the neighborhood is more quiet. 7 eleven, lawson are also near the hotel. Restaurants around the hotel are yoshinoya, mos burger, a small ramen restaurant that serves delicious ramen, and a restaurant that serves gyudon, curry etc, that is i think 24 hours open. A small shuttle bus stops at the hotel that only cost 100 yen to bring you to sunshine city, that has an amazing aquarium! The staff are very helpful, friendly and accomodating! highly recommended staffs

The hotel has the perfect location - very near Ikebukuro station, surrounded by restaurants, establishments, etc. It was easy to stroll around Ikebukuro. There was a convenience store (NewDays) at the 1F of the hotel and vendo machines at every floor which made it convenient for our midnight snack run. The front desk staff were all welcoming and helpful with us. Another bonus was the hotel was an airport limousine stop so it was hassle-free to and from the airport. The rooms that we had (standard and superior) are comfortable and big enough to open our big luggages (knowing Japan's typical standard). We had some drinks at Ovest to cap of one night and we enjoyed the views from the 25F.

1. Checkin was easy, they were able to keep my luggage safe before checkin and after checkout. 2. The male porter was the best as he was very friendly and even bided us a good flight home and hope to see us again. 3. The rooms were cleaned up very well. 4. Our room had a fantastic view of Mt Fuji.
